Eight-week hunter/jumper horse show circuit produced by HITS, Inc. that runs from January through March annually. Since its introduction in 1982, the HITS Winter Circuit in Florida has been a fixture on the East Coast show-jumping circuit. Each winter, the Circuit attracts national and international participants from the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe. Located in Marion County, the heart of Florida's horse country, the area is home to over 600 horse farms and hundreds of supporting facilities and businesses. Classes offered range from the Grand Prix show jumping classes to a selection of divisions for both the novice and experienced rider. The Circuit features 14 Grand Prix events worth a total of $575,000 in prize money, which includes the $100,000 DeLuca Toyota Tundra Grand Prix, presented by Great American Insurance Group to close out the circuit during the HITS Ocala Winter Celebration.

In 1896, the Devon Horse Show started as a one-day show. Now, years later, it has become the oldest and largest outdoor multi-breed competition in the United States. It is internationally recognized, USEF-A rated, and one of the most exciting events to happen in our area. While it draws top competitors from around the world, the show continues to reflect the local traditions and lifestyles of the Philadelphia Main Line. In 2010 Devon has become just the fourth American horse show to be honored with the designation as a USEF Heritage Competition.Devon was also recognized for the second consecutive year by the National Show Hunter Hall of Fame as the Horse Show of the Year.
St. Clement’s Saratoga Horse Show, over 50 years old, one of the largest all volunteer horse shows in the country and the first outdoor show of the “A” circuit in the Northeast. The world class hunter and jumper competition features horses from the east coast to Canada. On Sunday, the $25,000 David B. Wood Memorial Cup is awarded.

The Ox Ridge Hunt Club sponsors this annual June event, which has attracted up to 16,000 spectators and 1,300 equestrians, some from as far away as California and Europe. The 2007 Grand Prix event offered a $25,000 prize. The three-day event is free to spectators.

GMHA is once again hosting the only Combined Driving Event in New England, and will continue to use the three-day format with Dressage on Friday, Marathon on Saturday, and finishing up with Cones on Sunday. We will be offering divisions at the Training, Preliminary, and Intermediate levels.
USEA/USEF Sanctioned A Horse Trial takes place over one, two or three days, and involves three distinct phases or tests, with varying degrees of difficulty, depending on the competitive level. Taken as a whole, these phases portray the ability, versatility and preparedness of the horse and rider.
Hunter/Jumper shows are exciting events that test the horse and rider's ability to navigate a set course at different heights that can range from 12" to over 4'. Hunter classes are judged on the horse's jumping ability and style, manners, and way of going. Winners of Jumper classes are chosen based on who jumped the course with the least amount of faults and in the quickest time.
Among many events is the 25/50. ECTRA Sanctioned. Choose your distance! This ride offers a 25-Mile ride or drive on Saturday, 25-Mile ride on Sunday, or a 50-Mile ride and drive over the weekend. Entries include a catered lunch each day, one or two nights of stabling, and snacks. There will be a treatment vet on-grounds for this ride.
This is a 100 mile (162 km) long ultramarathon held annually in July at Silver Hill Meadow in West Windsor, Vermont. It is one of the four 100 mile races that comprise the Grand Slam of Ultrarunning. It is also the only known ultra race in the USA where entrants run alongside horses over the same course, in a separate but simultaneous race. The race has been held every year since 1989.

The Carolina Cup race-meeting is a time honored South Carolina tradition that has achieved premier social event status. The annual 'rites of spring' draws over 65,000 fans from throughout the southeast, to enjoy the thrilling sport of steeplechase horse racing amid a flurry of spring fashions and elaborate tailgate parties. From the Corporate Terrace to College Park, old friends meet and new friends are made during the afternoon of seven races.
The Barracks is an "A" horse show farm located in Charlottesville, Virginia. Owned and operated by the Bishop family since 1973,The Barracks specializes in boarding, training, selling, and showing hunters, jumpers, and equitation horses. The farm also hosts five "A" horse shows per year. The Barracks is home to the University of Virginia Riding Team. Virginia Riding is a club sport, and has garnered more national championships than any team at UVA.

The National has now become one of America’s most prestigious outdoor horse shows.
The Kentucky Derby Festival is Kentucky's largest annual event and one of the nation’s finest celebrations. Each year, more than 1.5 million people enjoy the 70 special events of this annual civic celebration including concerts, races and just plain fun.
The annual round up of wild ponies from Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge on Assateague Island on Virginia's Eastern Shore has captured the hearts and minds of visitors for years. Volunteer firemen round up the ponies on Assateague Island and on the last Wednesday in July swim them across the channel to Chincoteague Island where they rest before being herded down Main Street to the carnival grounds. On the last Thursday of July, from 8:00 a.m. until noon, there is an auction held at the Carnival grounds to sell the foals born this year.
The Russell County Fair and Horse Show is held annually the first week in September at the Russell County Fairgrounds in Castlewood, Virginia. The Russell County Fair and Horse Show features an array of events, something for everyone of any age to enjoy. Events include a carnival, scholarship pageant, horse shows, bull riding, livestock events, horseless cowboy contest, car show, demolition derby, antique tractor pull, truck and modified tractor pull, paintball tournament, pet show, and entertainment showcasing local and nationally known entertainers including country, bluegrass and gospel music performances.
The Carolina Horse Park is proud to host three USEF “A” rated shows each year -- with the final one being the December Classic-- as well as a series of schooling shows for all levels. With two large show rings, an enormous schooling area, and extensive grass fields, the Horse Park is an ideal place to bring hunters and jumpers of all levels.
Cross-country and three-day events are a regular feature of the equestrian calendar, from FENCE's own Horse Trials to those organized by the Tryon Riding and Hunt Club and the Foothills Riding Club. Our cross-country course was designed by Captain Mark Phillips, with a variety of terrain offering a challenge to eventers of all levels. The Block House Steeplechase, sponsored by the Tryon Riding and Hunt Club, has been run in Tryon every year since 1947 and moved to its new course at the Equestrian Center in 1988. A-rated Hunter/Jumper events, dressage, driving, and Pony Club activities can also be found on our calendar.
Surviving over 100 years, Oaklawn begins its season with exciting stakes races, including the Racing Festival of the South. Thanks to the successes of runners like Smarty Jones, Afleet Alex and Steppenwolfer over the past four years, a solid group of three-year-olds are anticipated for the Oaklawn series that includes the Southwest Stakes, Rebel Stakes and Arkansas Derby. Hot Springs showcases some of Mid-America’s finest thoroughbred racing at a first-rate track with a variety of dining options.
Since 1955 this annual show has set the pace in the Arabian horse world and has grown from 50 horses to nearly 2000 of the world's most beautiful Arabians and Half-Arabians bringing top owners, trainers and breeders from around the world to compete for a chance at winning more than $500,000 in prize money. The show is also a shopper’s paradise with an assortment of 300 vendors and trade booths, tempting international cuisine courts, exciting demonstrations and unique educational seminars.
Royal Windsor Horse Show is the largest outdoor equestrian Show in the UK, with over 3000 horses and ponies taking part in more than 250 jumping, showing, and carriage driving classes. The event has been running for over 65 years and takes place in Her Majesty The Queen’s private grounds at Windsor Castle.
